I presently own a GT Sanction 1.0 and have previously owned a Cannondal Scapel 1 and although the Scapel is a XC bike and the Sanction is FR/ DH / AM , I have always liked my GT much better and that is why I still have it…I also still own two Iron Horse bikes (higher end) and overall I paid less for the
Sanction but I like it most of all and there are differences in each of these bikes (aside from their intended use and frame design) that I wont get into here. The GT is just stronger and more R&D was put into it overall. Like I said before, I do not have the Scapel anymore….
